ORTAL – Organização Tabajara Ltda., founded in March of 1988 in Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, is the pioneer and the unique company in the state to produce and improve Carnauba Wax.

ORTAL is the 3rd Carnauba Wax producer in the country and has an identity, in the national and international markets, as a model of efficiency in the industrialization and improvement of Carnauba Wax. Actually, ORTAL is the Brazilian Carnauba Wax Exportation leader, with more than 80% of its production exported to 25 (twenty-five) countries around the five continents.
The industry works according to the most severe requirements from environment protection entities. The industrial equipment has sensors, which obstructs air pollution, preventing damages to the environment and to the Human Being’s health, detaching ORTAL as a model of efficiency in this area.
On harvest time, from August to January, ORTAL produces more than 1000 (a thousand) of indirect jobs to the agricultural producer and promotes annually the entrance of exchange value to the state, incomes and established jobs for more than 100 (one hundred) people. The firmness of its permanent partnership enables ORTAL to invest in staff qualification, who has contributed for its products’ success, nowadays well-known world-wide.
